NHN is a flexible 3-ply insulation paper made of polyimide film with a layer of DuPont Nomex aramid paper on both sides.
NHN has good temperature resistance, mechanical properties (tensile strength and edge tear properties) and electrical properties, especially for rotating machines operating temperatures up to 180 °C and 200 °C

Applications
It is used as slot insulation, phase insulation and wedges for motors and as core, interlayer and final insulation for transformers.
